Pomodoro e Mozarella

So simple...yet so divine...
I have always enjoyed this combination but I have no idea why in Milano it has not just met but surpassed any set expectations..only one word to describe it...Bellisimo! you gotto try it!

Take a walk on any street and you are bound to come across several cafes..like Gottardo 29...
All of them offer fresh, delicious foods...but the best thing to experience is to soak in the Italian service...which more often than not has been too friendly...always with a smile and always eager to please...

Coming back to the divine foods...here is the best pomodoro e mozarella pannini...priceless!

When I discovered my new love...

Buonasera!
It has been 4 days in Milano and I am living every moment of it....

Spent most of Sunday exploring the neighbourhood...not the best day..as being Italy almost every place is closed...
NOTE to self: Remember to do groceries on saturday 

Anyways..the area is amazing..not too far from city centre yet very peaceful..has brilliant bus/metro connections...plenty of restaurants (even a Chinese/Japanese one)..and a shopping mall too...

Started my Italian classes yesterday..and it is not easy!!! the brain is getting rusty...not able to process spanish and italian separately..final outcome is Spalian. need to work on this one.

Anyways..the best thing so far about Milano has been the Apertivo
Basically what this entails is a free flow of awesome food...by just purchasing a cocktail...and so far the best place has been Venti...not just for the food..but introducing me to my new love....
it is green...it is yummy...it is bellisimo!!!

A New Beginning

Its been a while now since I blogged...I had ambitious plans before starting the MBA of documenting my experiences at Warwick...well...that never happened..thanks to a crazy packed schedule....but now its time for a new beginning.

so Buongiorno to all from the cradle of civilisation...the centre of fashion, culture and arhitecture....and also pizza! yup..I am in Italia...more precisely in Milano....

Will be spending the next few months here...and hoping to share my experiences with you through this blog...so stay tuned for more!
